OKLAHOMA CITY — A man who lived in the Newalla area of far S.E. Oklahoma City is dead and police believe he was killed by his nephew.

Around 11:33 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department were sent to 11025 Squirmy Drive in far southeast Oklahoma City to check the welfare of 67-year-old Randel Clark.

Family members had contacted police after others in the family stated that 36-year-old Jason Wilson, Clark’s nephew, had called saying that he had killed his uncle at that address.

When police arrived, they found Clark dead in the front yard of the residence.

Officers also discovered that Wilson was still there at the home where they placed him under arrest.

Wilson was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail at 4:58 p.m. the same day on a complaint of Murder in the First Degree.

Police say the investigation is still in its early stages.
