Oklahoma City, OK – March 19, 2024 – Fertile Ground Cooperative is excited to invite the community to a fun celebration of art, sustainability, and togetherness. It is the Mural Party + Plant Swap event on March 30, 2024, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. The event will be at 2228 S Santa Fe Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73109. It will be an afternoon of fun activities, art, and live music.
The Mural Party + Plant Swap has two goals. They are to build community and promote sustainability. It will also celebrate the completion of our stunning mural thanks to grant funding from OKC Rescue Program. This event serves as a testament to the power of collaboration and creativity within our community.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a plant swap, exchanging plants and gardening tips with fellow enthusiasts. Additionally, guests can enjoy yard games and the captivating tunes of Compost Adjacent, a local OKC band!
“We are excited to bring people together to celebrate the completion of our mural and to promote sustainability through the plant swap,” said Terry Craghead, Worker-Owner at Fertile Ground Cooperative. “This event represents our commitment to building a stronger, more connected community.”
Admission to the event is free, but guests are encouraged to RSVP on the Fertile Ground website to help organizers better prepare for the occasion.
