U.S. Marshalls with OKCPD help kill suspect on city’s west side

OKLAHOMA CITY — Members of the U.S. Marshall’s Service and of the Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD) attempted to arrest a suspect Wednesday. Instead, the suspect led them in a chase that ended with a Deputy Marshall shooting and killing the suspect.

Dead at the end of the chase Wednesday around 5:07 PM was:

  • Shari Vincent, 44

A news release from the OKCPD stated that Vincent had “two felony warrants out of Cleveland County for stalking and malicious injury to property.”

The statement also claimed that Vincent was “making numerous threats via social media (including against law enforcement) and her behavior was escalating, suggesting a high propensity for violence.”

Officers attempted to stop Vincent near NW 39th and Barr Ave. According to police, she then fled in her care leading them on a pursuit.

The pursuit ended at NW 48th and Warren when her vehicle was rammed by a Deputy Marshall in his vehicle.

Police state that “Ms. Vincent produced a gun and was subsequently shot and killed” by the Deputy Marshall.
