PRESS RELEASE: Harrah woman pleads guilty to firearms, fentanyl, meth, and live grenade possession

OKLAHOMA CITY – ROBIN MARIE COX, 55, of Harrah, has pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime, announced U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester.

On September 24, 2024, Cox was charged by Superseding Information with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime. According to public record, on April 25, 2023, Cox was found in possession of at least 50 grams of methamphetamine, and at least 40 grams of fentanyl, both of which she intended to distribute. In addition, law enforcement seized 17 firearms from Cox, and a live hand grenade.

On October 9, 2024, Cox pleaded guilty and admitted that she planned to distribute the methamphetamine she possessed and that she possessed the firearms in furtherance of her drug trafficking activities.

At sentencing, Cox faces no less than five years and up to life in federal prison.

This case is the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the FBI Oklahoma City Field Office, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs, and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Travis Leverett is prosecuting the case.
