EL RENO, Okla. — The City of El Reno is accepting applications to fill several vacancies on City boards and commissions. Residents interested in serving their community are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must reside within the El Reno city limits. Applications must be received by 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6.
Current openings include:
El Reno Library Board
- One opening. Term expires April 2028.
El Reno Cemetery Board
- One opening. Term expires April 2030.
- One opening. Term expires April 2031.
El Reno Municipal Planning Commission
- Two openings. Terms expire June 2029.
El Reno Convention & Visitors Board
- One accommodations representative (lodging and/or restaurant industry). Term expires June 2029.
- One community at-large representative. Term expires June 2029.
El Reno Board of Adjustment
- One opening. Term expires June 2027.
- One opening. Term expires June 2028.
- Two openings. Terms expire June 2029.
El Reno Parks and Recreation Board
- Two openings. Terms expire June 2029.
El Reno Recreational Advisory Board
- Two openings. Terms expire June 2027.
- Two openings. Terms expire June 2028.
- One opening. Term expires June 2029.
El Reno Airpark Advisory Board
- One opening. Term expires June 2029.
City boards and commissions provide residents with the opportunity to advise City leadership, participate in the decision-making process and help guide the future of El Reno.
Applications may be picked up at El Reno City Hall, 101 N. Choctaw Ave., or downloaded from the City Clerk’s webpage at https://elrenook.gov/160/City-Clerk.
Completed applications must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6.
