OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (March 14, 2024) – The Calle Dos Cinco in Historic Capitol Hill Board and Sponsors invite the public to their 10th annual Oklahoma Cine Latino Film Festival. The Oklahoma Cine Latino Film Festival is a program of Calle Dos Cinco that promotes the Latino Cultural impact on cinema, focusing on a unique mix of filmmakers, artists, film lovers and history at the heart of the Hispanic Community. 

OPENING NIGHT 

Date : Saturday, March 23| Doors open 4:30 pm | 5:00-9:00 P.M.

Location : The Yale Theater, 227 SW 25th, OKC, OK 73109

Opening Night is a ticketed event and will kick-off at the elegant Yale Theater, front and center on Commerce Street. Guests will walk the red carpet and get the full movie premier experience before enjoying some of this year’s breathtaking submissions.

Enjoy captivating films from a variety of filmmakers – from those up & coming to well-established individuals. This night will highlight local and international filmmakers from around the United States, Mexico, and Latin America. The public is invited to meet these amazing filmmakers as they take us behind the scenes of their films and their experiences in the film industry. The students of the OKCine Latino Youth Film Institute Class VIII will also be presenting the short film they completed as they worked through the 4-week workshop course.

FREE OKCINE LATINO SCREENINGS

Sunday, March 24th | 1:00-5:00pm 

Capitol Hill Library, 327 SW 27th, OKC, OK 73109

The following day is free and open to the public and will include screenings of the compelling films and documentaries that were submitted for the festival. There will also be a filmmakers panel to further engage the community with the film industry as they share more about their experiences, behind the scenes of their films, and more. Calle Dos Cinco is honored to serve as a platform where Latino filmmakers can showcase their hard work and where the community can gather to celebrate them and connect them to other aspiring filmmakers.

Experience these captivating films while supporting aspiring filmmakers at the OKCine Latino Film Festival, Saturday, March 23rd and Sunday, March 24th at Calle Dos Cinco in Historic Capitol Hill.
