NORMAN, Okla. – The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History is excited to announce Archaeology Day, a special event celebrating International Archaeology Day, on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Families and individuals of all ages are invited to join in a day filled with fun and educational activities. The event will feature hands-on activities including flintknapping, atlatl throwing demonstrations, arts and crafts, sandbox excavations, and pottery making. Additionally, guests will have the rare opportunity to participate in behind-the-scenes collection tours, showcasing artifacts and objects typically not accessible to the public.

All activities are included with general museum admission, priced at $12 for adults and $7 for children.

The Sam Noble Museum is the officially designated natural history museum for the state of Oklahoma and is located on the University of Oklahoma Norman campus at 2401 Chautauqua Ave.
