Police investigating Southside OKC shooting death

-- No arrests made so far for Homicide #49 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2023

OKLAHOMA CITY — A woman was already suffering from gunshot wounds when police arrived Thursday evening. She was declared dead at the hospital.

Around 5:35 PM Thursday officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department were sent to 31 SW 25th Street on reports of a shooting. The address is in the block just west of Shields Boulevard in the lower section of Historic Capitol Hill.

When they arrived they found Maria Bunner, 30, already shot.

Police say it is still unclear what led to the shooting but are investigating. No arrests have been made so far.
