OKLAHOMA CITY — In a continuing trend of arresting the supplier in a fentanyl death, an Oklahoma City man is now in custody in connection to a fentanyl overdose death in 2023.

Ean Quinn Boyd, 41, was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a First-Degree Murder warrant Thursday stemming from an overdose death on October 1, 2023.

In 2023, patrol officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department were sent to 11604 Larocha Drive in response to reports of an overdose. The address is near SE 104th Street and Triple X Road in far southeast OKC.

When they arrived, Arissa Faith Coody, 37, was dead from what they believed to be a fentanyl overdose.

Detectives believe they can establish a link between Coody’s death and Boyd accusing him of supplying the fentanyl that killed her.

The OKCPD is now counting the 2023 death as homicide #21 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2024.

A $10 million bond has been set but jail records show Boyd remains in custody.
