OKLAHOMA CITY — A confrontation in southeastern OKC Friday resulted in one man being shot to death in the front yard of a home.

Patrol officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department were dispatched to a home in the 3800 block of Hiddleston Circle near SE 44th and Sunnylane in the dark early hours of Friday morning.

Arriving officers found Timothy Emmanuel Brown, 24, who had been shot multiple times. Brown was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

In their initial investigation, police believe that Brown went to the house and was confronted outside by its occupants as he approached.

One of those individuals, 21-year-old Ladarius James Crutchfield, “… fired rounds at Brown during the altercation. Brown was struck by the gunfire,” according to the press release from OKCPD Sgt. Dillon Quirk.

Crutchfield was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a Second Degree Murder complaint.
