OKLAHOMA CITY — A man was booked for murder at the end of January of 2023 in the Fentanyl overdose death of a woman in April 2022.
Justin Lastra, 49, has been detained in the Oklahoma County Detention Center since being first booked on April 1, 2022 for possession of a controlled substance.
Later that same month, he was also booked for:
- Distribution of a controlled substance, possession with intent.
- Aggravated trafficking of illegal drugs.
- Trafficking in illegal drugs.
- Acquire proceeds from drug activities.
Then, at the end of January 2023, Lastra was booked for
- Murder of Kathryn Williams who the state Medical Examiner’s Office recently determined had died in 2022 from an overdose of Fentanyl. Police believe Lastra packaged and sold the Fentanyl to Williams and a group of people.
- Distribution of counterfeit controlled substance, possession with intent.
Bond was denied on the murder complaint.
