(Oklahoma City, OK) – The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM) is now accepting applications for the 2027–2028 school year. Eligible students can begin the application process through Ravenna and submit all required materials by midnight on March 5, 2027.
OSSM is Oklahoma’s public residential school for academically motivated students with a passion for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Students currently in their sophomore year (10th grade) are eligible to apply for admission.
Applicants will need to submit the following materials:
- Transcript, including fall grades submitted in January
- ACT scores
- Three teacher recommendations from a math, science and English teacher
- One recommendation from a school counselor or principal
- Five short essay responses of 200–300 words each
- Parent/Guardian statement
Students can create a free account through Ravenna Hub to access the OSSM application and begin submitting supplemental materials. Through their Ravenna account, applicants can also sign up for campus visits and track the progress of their application.
