OKLAHOMA CITY — A woman was shot inside her car in a Southside business parking lot in the dark early hours of Saturday and died at the hospital.
The death is being counted as homicide #3 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2024.
From their investigation so far, Oklahoma City Police Dept. detectives believe Jacqueline Luna Garcia, 22, was hit with gunfire while she sat in her car in the parking lot of a business at SW 29th and Youngs Ave.
The incident occurred somewhere around 4:15 AM Saturday.
Garcia was taken to the hospital after being shot and died there.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is in its “early stages” according to a department press release.
