Third suspect booked for Murder in weekend homicide

OKLAHOMA CITY — A third suspect was booked late Tuesday for the death of Tommy Lee Benson at an events center in SW Oklahoma City Saturday.

The death was homicide #15 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2025.

From surveillance video, detectives with the Oklahoma City Police Department now believe that Benson died from being hit with a chair during a brawl at the event center.

Kaleb Harris, 36, was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center Tuesday night on a single complaint of Second Degree Murder.

This comes after two other suspects were arrested Monday. Jarmey Jones, 39, and Mario Glover, 42, were also booked on complaints of Second Degree Murder in Benson’s death.

Bond was set at $10 million for each of the three.

OKCPD is asking anyone with information to contact the Homicide Tip Line at 405/297-1200.

These cases will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office, ultimately determining whether charges will be filed.
