OKLAHOMA CITY — Sometimes the best gift isn’t under the tree, but in understanding how desperately tired the holidays can make us. For those looking to downgrade their stress on December 25 by outsourcing the cooking to the professionals, there are a surprisingly deep number of restaurant options in 2023.
First off, the always-open diners will be a) open, and b) full of diners. From big chains like Ihop, Waffle House and Denny’s, to local mainstays like Beverly’s Pancake House, which proudly proclaims itself open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
American fare
Flint Kitchen and Bar
Flint Kitchen and Bar in the Colcord Hotel will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with a four-course plated meal for $65+tax for adults and $30+tax for kids. Courses one and two include choices of clam chowder, chicken pot pie, classic Caesar salad, and a traditional wedge salad. Course three offers a choice of oven-roasted turkey and gravy, honey-glazed ham, roasted Cornish game hen, or chateaubriand with a choice of two sides, including roasted garlic mashed potatoes, honey roasted carrots, green bean amandine, rosemary creamed corn, Flint mac & cheese, and sweet potato casserole with toasted marshmallow.
For dessert, diners can choose from a pumpkin tart, pecan tart, strawberry shortcake, or affogato. Reservations are available through opentable.com.

Bricktown Brewery
Bricktown Brewery at Remington Park will be open with a Christmas buffet starting at 11 a.m., though horse racing won’t be on the menu.

Café Cuvée
Café Cuvée in the Ambassador Hotel, part of the same restaurant group as FLINT, will also be open on Christmas from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. This menu is $75 for adults and $35 each for children ages 12 and younger. The menu includes a house Caesar salad, Kir imperial salad, tomato basil soup, clam chowder, prime rib, airline chicken, roasted pork shoulder, chocolate mousse, pecan pie, and yule log cake.

Ramsey’s Kitchen
Ramsey’s Kitchen, the celebrity chef’s new Oklahoma City location, will be open Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., including a Christmas feature of Sunday roast for $65.

Tellers
Tellers in the First National Center will offer a Christmas Day Feast from noon to 8 p.m. with a three-course prix fixe menu including a choice of pasta e fagioli, baked brie, or winter salad; strozzapreti con scampi, roasted beef tenderloin, roasted organic chicken, grilled salmon, or heritage porchetta; and sticky toffee pudding, cranberry-orange cheesecake, or hazelnut pecan bourbon tart, as well as a selection of holiday cocktails for an added fee. The meal is $70 for adults and $30 for children 12 and under.
