OKLAHOMA CITY — In the home stretch toward the February 14 election, candidates for the OKC City Council will have the opportunity to make their case this Friday, February 3 and next Friday, February 10, from 6 to 7 p.m. CST.
The forum on Friday will feature candidates for the Ward 6 and Ward 8 seats, where both incumbents are defending their seats against challengers.
Ward 6 candidates

Ward 8 candidates
- Mark Stonecipher (incumbent)
- Frank Urbanic
- Amy Warne

The series is hosted and led by the Student Government Association at OSU-OKC, Oklahoma State University’s central Oklahoma City campus, known for its strong programs in business and the medical sciences such as nursing and emergency services.
The GSA is partnering with Let’s Fix This, the Oklahoma Civic Learning Coalition, and Vote for Change in hosting the forum.
The second forum will be at the same place and time in one week on Friday, February 10 where candidates for Ward 2 and Ward 5 will have an opportunity to make their case.
