The USA Today High School Sports Awards sends this information as posted below:
The USA TODAY High School Sports Awards is an athletic recognition program honoring the area’s top-performing athletes, coaches and teams. The nine-month program, selecting and announcing nominees each season, culminates in an in-person awards show where winners are announced, and special awards are given. Prior to the awards show, guests mingle and take photos on our carpet, while athletes socialize in a special nominee-only area called “The Clubhouse.”
As the largest high school sports recognition program in the country, USA TODAY High School Sports Awards (https://sportsawards.usatoday.com/) celebrates the best in high school sports in numerous regions across the country. In addition to its sports-specific categories, the program also features a series of specialty awards such as Coach of the Year, Courage Award, and Special Olympics Award.
This year’s show also featured a special Q&A session with current Oklahoma Womens’ Softball and Team USA Softball players Jayda Coleman and Kenzie Hanson. Jayda and Kenzie shared their on and off the field advice with aspiring elite athletes and their families.
