The Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC) sends this information as posted below:

OKLAHOMA – The Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for THRIVE Grants, an annual funding opportunity designed to support ambitious, innovative, and community-engaged visual arts projects. Made possible through a partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts’ Regional Regranting Program, THRIVE Grants invest in collaborative initiatives that expand the reach and impact of contemporary art across Oklahoma.

This year, THRIVE Grants will provide up to $10,000 in funding for artist-led projects that push creative boundaries and foster meaningful public engagement. Funded projects must culminate in a public-facing component (such as a nontraditional exhibition, performance, screening, or other accessible format) presented either in person or virtually. Projects may take place anywhere in Oklahoma but must remain open and accessible to the public.

Bryanna Mitchell, THRIVE 2025 Grantee stated: “I am filled with gratitude as I accept this grant from OVAC and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts; Thank you for bridging the gap for creatives through art. For seeing opportunities to serve Oklahoma’s art community and for developing the longevity of creatives in business. This grant helped emerging creatives from all over the U.S. that come to Black Fashion Week to show their art through fashion, music and fellowship.”

THRIVE Grant applications are free and open to the public until June 1st, 2026 at 11:59 PM and can be found on the THRIVE website (ovac-ok.org/thrivegrants). Applications will be evaluated by a panel of artists and arts administrators based on artistic merit, career-altering potential, and community impact. Priority consideration will be given to projects serving under-represented areas of Oklahoma, featuring BIPOC collaborators, and engaging with the community they serve.

OVAC is honored to be invited by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to participate in the Regional Regranting Program. This unmatched funding for visual artists’ projects in our state will have an astounding and residual impact on our arts community.
