The Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC) announces MOMENTUM 2025, a dynamic and unique exhibition highlighting the innovative talent of young artists ages 30 and younger. This year’s event will take place on April 4–5 at the historic Yale Theater in Oklahoma City andpromises a two-day immersive featuring live entertainment, art-making activities, curator and artist talks, and an exclusive opportunity to be captivated by and acquire works created by local artists.

Spotlight Artists & Featured Works
In addition to 38 General Survey Artists working across painting, drawing, sculpture, film, and more, three Spotlight Artists will debut new bodies of work, supported by a $1,000 honorarium and curatorial guidance from Guest Curator Narciso Argüelles and Emerging Curator Anna Smist:
- Michele Pierce (Frederick, OK) | “Theater of the Everyday”
Large-scale narrative self-portraits capturing personal and communal moments, honoring the people who have shaped her artistic journey. - Benjamin Roberson (Oklahoma City, OK) | “In Flux”
A kinetic wave-machine installation, pushing the boundaries of form, function, and motion in contemporary sculpture. - Krystal Solis (Duncan, OK) | “Middle Space”
A series of oil paintings exploring underrepresented identities through themes of celebration, spirituality, and femininity.
