OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission (OESC) is excited to announce another series of free Employer Outreach Seminars designed to connect local employers with valuable resources to enhance workforce development. Scheduled to take place throughout the fall, these seminars aim to provide information on Veterans’ employment, federal bonding, unemployment tax, and various employment resources.
Attendees will learn about effective strategies for hiring veterans, understanding the federal bonding program which helps high risk job seekers find employment, navigating unemployment tax regulations, and accessing a range of employment resources tailored to their specific needs. Each session will offer opportunities for networking, collaboration, and sharing best practices among Oklahoma employers.
“Strengthening the relationship between employers and the resources available through our office is crucial for building a robust workforce,” said Jim Polly, an Unemployment Insurance advocate of more than 30 years, who will be leading the seminars. “These events are not just about providing information; they are about empowering employers to make informed decisions that will positively impact their businesses and the community at large.”
In addition to expert-led discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in Q&A sessions, allowing for a deeper understanding of how these programs can directly benefit their organizations.
