PRESS RELEASE: OKCPS to Continue Hosting Enrollment Pods throughout July

Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS) sends this information as posted below:

Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS) is extending their in-person enrollment events, providing additional options for families to enroll their students through the end of July. Families are encouraged to enroll their student(s) before the first day of school, August 13. Enrolling before the first day of school allows the district to have the appropriate amount of staff hired, including teachers. Late enrollment could result in a student not having an accurate class schedule on the first day of school and OKCPS leaders want students to be learning on day one!

Online

The quickest and easiest way to enroll is online. Both returning students and those brand new to the district need to enroll.

For returning students, the online enrollment process should only take around ten minutes. Families needing assistance with their Infinite Campus username or password, may call 405-587-0435 or complete a help form.

In-Person Pods

Some families may feel more comfortable with an enrollment specialist guiding them through the process of enrolling or they may need translation services. OKCPS is hosting pods, which are pop-up events where enrollment specialists are available to help families complete enrollment for all of the students within their family.

Families are encouraged to visit the Westwood Student Support Services Center (1701 Exchange Avenue in Okla. City) for enrollment assistance Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. Extended hours will be available on Tuesdays (closed July 4) through July 30; enrollment assistance will be available from 8am to 7pm.

The district will also host several enrollment pods at school sites throughout July to assist families with enrolling their students for the 2024-25 school year. Families will be able to enroll all of their students in one application at any site they visit. The pods will be held on weekdays and Saturdays, with convenient times for busy families. OKCPS is hosting an enrollment pod tomorrow at Capitol Hill High School from 8am to 2:30pm.

The Caring Van will be on site offering immunizations on select dates for students who need to get caught up. at Westwood Student Support Services, 1701 Exchange Avenue, July 9 and 16, from 1pm – 4pm.
