(Oklahoma City, OK) – Oklahoma City Public Schools has announced the members of its updated Bond Citizens Oversight Committee, a community-led group charged with providing independent oversight and transparency for the district’s voter-approved bond program.
The Bond Citizens Oversight Committee serves an important role in monitoring the progress of OKCPS 2022 Bond-funded projects, reviewing expenditures and helping ensure accountability to taxpayers as OKCPS delivers facility improvements and investments that support student success.
The updated committee includes representatives from each Board of Education district, along with an at-large chairperson:
- Committee Chair (At-Large): Janie Barrios
- District 1: Sharron Jackson
- District 2: Rebecca Stahl
- District 3: Richard Paulk
- District 4: Matt Vaughan
- District 5: Savannah Miller
- District 6: Amanda Black
- District 7: Natalie Roman
The committee will meet quarterly to review bond program updates, project timelines, financial reports, and construction progress. Through its work, the committee helps ensure the district remains transparent and accountable as it fulfills commitments made to voters.
