PRESS RELEASE: OKCMOA to screen Sundance winner ‘Porcelain War’ followed by filmmaker Q&A

Thursday, Jan. 2, 7:30 p.m.

The Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s film program will screen Porcelain War, one of the year’s most decorated documentary features, in the Noble Theater. Following the screening, a Zoom Q&A session with co-directors Brendan Bellomo & Slava Leontyev and film participant Anya Stasenko will take place. The Q&A will be moderated by Bob Berney, Oklahoma native and CEO of Picturehouse, the film’s distributor.

Winner of the 2024 Sundance Grand Jury Prize for Best U.S. Documentary, Porcelain War is a stunning meditation on hope and resilience that follows three Ukrainian artists as they defend their war-ravaged homeland and search for beauty amid destruction.
