PRESS RELEASE: OKC Parks giving away trees, compost during Earth Kind Earth Day workshop

Celebrate Earth Day by joining OKC Parks and Squeeze Every Drop, the City’s water conservation program, for a workshop to learn about natural gardening practices, composting, attracting pollinators and choosing native, tough plants for your landscape.

The Earth Kind Earth Day celebration will be held on April 20 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Will Rogers Gardens, located at 3400 NW 36th St.

This event will include a locally sourced lunch, tree and compost giveaways, eco-friendly vendors and a ladybug release. Registration is required. $15 per participant, and registration closes April 17.
