OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (November 5th, 2024) – Tango PR invites the community to celebrate the Day of the Dead at the 5th Annual OKC Festival de Vida y Muerte presented by Supermercados Morelos at Scissortail Park. This free outdoor event will take place Sunday, November 10th, from 1pm-9pm.
Festival de Vida y Muertos, or Day of the Dead Celebration, is a vibrant and cherished tradition, celebrated by Latinos worldwide to honor the lives of those who have passed. This event has become one of Oklahoma City’s most anticipated festivals, drawing over 15,000 attendees last year to revel in the colorful displays of love, life, and remembrance. Against the scenic backdrop of Scissortail Park and downtown OKC, this festival transforms into a lively and beautiful tribute to culture and community, filled with music, dance, art, and delicious flavors.
“Festival de Vida y Muerte is a wonderful event for Oklahoma City and provides an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to experience our city’s diverse culture. The festival features great food, beautiful art and music, and is creating a significant economic impact as well, by supporting small businesses and bringing visitors to OKC.”— Mayor David Holt
