OKLAHOMA CITY (August 1, 2024) – The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (ODVA) is proud to announce the upcoming “Boots to Suits” Veteran Entrepreneur Class, scheduled for August 27-28, 2024. This two-day event will take place at the ODVA Central Office, located at 2132 NE 36th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73130. The classes will be held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on both days.
The “Boots to Suits” class is designed to empower veterans who are transitioning from military service to the world of entrepreneurship. This comprehensive program will cover essential topics such as business planning, marketing strategies, financial management, and networking opportunities, providing veterans with the tools and knowledge they need to successfully start and grow their own businesses.
“At ODVA, we are committed to supporting our veterans in every aspect of their lives, including their entrepreneurial endeavors,” said Daron Hoggatt, Business Management Program Administrator. “This class is a fantastic opportunity for veterans to learn from experienced business professionals and connect with fellow veteran entrepreneurs.”
