(OKLAHOMA CITY) – July 30, 2024 – The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma has announced the addition of seven new members to its Board of Directors and two new members to its Foundation Board of Directors. Both boards also welcome new leadership.
“The Regional Food Bank is excited to welcome this new group of leaders who will bring their unique experiences, expertise and skills to help us work toward our vision of an Oklahoma where no goes hungry,” said Stacy Dykstra, chief executive officer of the Regional Food Bank.
The Regional Food Bank’s Board of Directors is tasked with oversight over the operations, programs and administration of the organization. The new members are serving from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. Joining the Regional Food Bank’s Board of Directors are:
- Kyle Essmiller, CP Energy
- Graham Glaser, Incipient Group
- Leslie Griffith, Chickasaw Nation
- Karen Jacobs, Retired
- Chris Kirt, Devon Energy
- Jason Strasser, Caption Partners LP
- Clarence Washington, CompSource Mutual Insurance
Dave Lopez, Lopez-Dorada Foods, will assume the role of board chair, while outgoing chair Phi Nguyen, Downtown OKC Partnership, will move to the past chair role. Mike Potter, retired, moves to the role of vice chair while Edgar Medina, Tinker Federal Credit Union, is the treasurer and Dr. Lydia Nightingale, Variety Care, is board secretary.
The Regional Food Bank’s Foundation Board of Directors, which manages the organization’s endowments and investments, welcomes two new members.

- Karen Tan, Community Volunteer
Bryan Sayler, Crow’s Nest Holdings, has been named chair of the Regional Food Bank’s Foundation Board of Directors. Bonnie Kennedy, OU Foundation, resumes her role as vice chair and Alyson Young-Gilbert continues in her role as secretary and treasurer.
