PRESS RELEASE: More than 200 advocates set to attend Anti-Hunger Day at the Oklahoma Capitol

WHAT: Hunger Free Oklahoma, the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma will host more than 200 employees, volunteers, lived experience experts and anti-hunger advocates. Attendees will hear from leaders of three organizations as well as from Oklahomans who have experienced food insecurity. They will also hear updates from two lawmakers and learn more about bills impacting hunger and advocate for policies that help fight hunger by meeting with lawmakers.

WHEN: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, April 22

WHERE: Oklahoma State Capitol, 2nd Floor Rotunda

WHY: Oklahoma consistently ranks as one of the hungriest state in the nation. Hunger Free Oklahoma, the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and the Regional Food Bank advocate for policies that create greater access to food.
