Dylan Albertson is a genderfluid visual artist, aerialist, and filmmaker from Oklahoma City, with a B.F.A. in Studio Art and minor in Philosophy from the University of Central Oklahoma. Exploring topics of queerness and its relation to visual identity, Dylan’s most recent works, “Ladies and Gentlemen, We are Floating in Space,” a queer animated short film, and “OKC in Drag,” a visual art exhibition exploring the underground queer scene in Oklahoma City, were funded by grants awarded through UCO’s Office of High-Impact Practices.

Originally from Minneapolis, MN, Andromeda Johnson has worked with cameras her entire life as a photographer. Working in the film industry since 2018, Andromeda came up through the camera department as an Assistant Camera and Digital Imaging Technician- participating in the rapid growth of Oklahoma’s verging Film Industry. In recent years Andromeda has transitioned preferring She/They Pronouns and No longer Identifying with her given name. Andromeda has always practiced screenwriting as a creative exercise but “Boy mode” is the first script she has written where it felt urgent for the story to be told.

Alexandria Carr, born and raised in Oklahoma City found her passion for film after writing, directing, and producing her first web series, “Scandalous Tales.” Her first short film titled “Pharmakós” won 4 different awards at the Great Plains Film Festival in Oklahoma back in 2021. Her goal is to continue to connect with other LGBT+/POC creators to create raw POC and LGBT+ stories.
