PRESS RELEASE: Councilwoman Nikki Nice hosts Ward 7 town hall April 23

The community is invited to join Ward 7 Councilwoman Nikki Nice for a town hall on Tuesday, April 23, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the MAPS 3 Health and Wellness Center, NE 36th Street and Lincoln Boulevard.

Councilwoman Nice will emcee a Ward 7 update that includes topics such as the NE Pilot Program, Sooner Success, new bike lanes, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), the MAPS 3 Health and Wellness Center, Freedom Center, job initiatives, Lincoln Center, upcoming farmers markets and upcoming health discussions. After the presentations, attendees can visit one-on-one with City staff and presenters.

Organizations will also have information about programs available to the community.

“The town hall will be packed with helpful information about events, activities and development in northeast OKC,” Councilwoman Nice said. “It’s the perfect opportunity to engage with your community and city staff, learn about resources throughout the ward and much more.”

Ward 7 includes northeast Oklahoma City but extends into southeast and northwest parts of the city.

Councilwoman Nice was elected to City Council in 2018 and re-elected unopposed in 2021.
