OKLAHOMA CITY — A parking lot fight outside a club in west OKC resulted in at least two people being shot, one of whom died.
The death marks homicide #16 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2025.
Patrol officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department were dispatched to a club at 1156 N. MacArthur Blvd in the dark early hours of Saturday morning around 4:00.
When officers arrived they found two victims who had been shot, according to SSgt. Dillon Quirk.
Those two victims were transported to the hospital where one was declared dead and the other treated for their wounds.
After their initial investigation detectives believe that there was a fight in the parking lot that escalated to gunfire.
A third victim then arrived at the hospital the following day with a “non-life-threatening injury.” It is unclear from police statements if the third injured person had been shot or was injured in some other way in the fighting.
No arrests have been made as of publication.
