OKC woman booked for murder after stabbing wife to death

OKLAHOMA CITY — An argument between a married couple in northeast Oklahoma City ended in the stabbing death of one and the other being booked for murder.

Police are counting this death as homicide #15 for the City of Oklahoma City.

Wednesday, patrol officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department were sent to 8533 Durland Way on reports of a stabbing.

When they arrived, they found Hannah Colness, 34, suffering from stab wounds. She was transported to OU Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

Hannah Colness’ wife 20-year-old Brooke Colness (AKA Brooke Langfield) remained at the scene for police to arrive. She was taken into custody, interviewed, then booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a complaint of first degree murder.

Detectives now believe that the couple were involved in an argument when Brooke Colness stabbed Hannah Colness causing her death.
