OKC Human Rights Commission now offers complaint forms online in English, Spanish

The public can now file an Oklahoma City employment, housing or public accommodation discrimination complaint online in English or Spanish at okc.gov/hrc for the Oklahoma City Human Rights Commission to review.

Residents who believe they have been discriminated against related to employment, housing or public accommodations in OKC may begin a process to address their complaint through the OKC HRC within 90 days of the alleged discrimination.

There are multiple ways residents can complete the intake forms.

• Submit online at okc.gov/hrc. Web browsers often have built-in translators to translate the form into the language of the user’s choice.
  
• Print out the online forms in English and Spanish.
  • 1. Complainants can mail the completed form to OKC City Hall, 200 N Walker Ave.
    2. Drop off the form at City Hall.
    3. Scan the form and email it to [email protected].
• Visit City Hall to receive a paper copy.

“The Human Rights Commission is committed to being a community resource for all OKC residents,” HRC Compliance Officer Emma Winiski said. “Increasing language access is an important step in reaching this goal.”
