OKLAHOMA CITY – A corporal in the Oklahoma City Fire Department has been placed on administrative leave after being arrested for felony child abuse.
Zachary Scott Brown, 35, was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center Wednesday morning on two complaints of felony “Lewd or Indecent Proposals or Acts to Child.”
Bond has been set at $750,000.
OKCFD has put Brown on administrative leave while his case moves through the justice system.
“The department is committed to upholding the highest standards of conduct and will take appropriate actions based on the findings of the investigation,” said Battalion Chief Scott Douglas about Brown’s arrest.
“It is always a top priority for the Oklahoma City Fire Department to ensure the safety and well-being of our community and staff.”
Douglas is the Public Information Officer for the department.
