Northside OKC shooting leaves one dead, three others wounded

OKLAHOMA CITY — A shooting in a far northside Oklahoma City shopping center parking lot resulted in one person dying and three others being treated for gunshot wounds.

According to an Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD) press release it appears that a group of people were shot in the parking lot after leaving one establishment in the Shoppes at Quail Springs, 3000 W. Memorial Road, around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

When police arrived at the parking lot they found one person dead and others being taken to a local hospital in private vehicles.

No suspects are in custody or are being named at this time.

Victim who died:

  • Zyron Owens, 31

Victims who received non-life-threatening gunshot wounds:

  • Evan Phillips, 29
  • Devontae Green, 21
  • Tycia Britton, 20
