OKLAHOMA CITY — A man was shot to death in far western Oklahoma City and a suspect has been arrested.
In the dark early hours of Sunday morning at 3:23 AM patrol officers of the Oklahoma City Police Department were called to the 11300 block of NW 96th Street.
The address is in the far western side of Oklahoma City limits between Yukon and Piedmont in eastern Canadian County.
To the officers it appeared that “there was an altercation between the suspect and victim that led to the victim being shot,” says the press release from Sgt. Dillon Quirk.
The death is counted as homicide #45 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2024.
21-year-old RAMARI ZAISHAWN BOONE HAYE was arrested at the scene and after an interview was booked into the Canadian County Jail in El Reno on two complaints:
- First-Degree Murder
- Pointing a firearm
