OKLAHOMA CITY — A fight between two men who shared an apartment in Northside OKC led to one being shot to death and the other being booked for murder.
The death marks homicide #12 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2024.
Patrol officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department were sent to an apartment complex at 7000 W. Britton Road in the dark early hours of Saturday morning on reports of someone being shot.
When they arrived, officers found one man already dead who had been shot.
The dead man was:
- Dwyane White, 53
White’s birthday was the day before he died.
The man who shared the apartment with White, Allen Dudley, stayed at the scene and was interviewed.
From the interview, officers believe that the two men got into an argument which ended with Dudley killing White.
Dudley was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a complaint of First Degree Murder.
