OKLAHOMA CITY — A conflict inside a home in far northwest Oklahoma City Tuesday ended with a stabbing of a 27-year-old man who later died from the wounds.
The death marks homicide #75 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2024.
Patrol officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department were dispatched to the 8300 block of NW 142nd Street at 6:57 AM Tuesday on reports of a stabbing injury.
The address is near the intersection of W. Memorial Road and N. Council Road.
Isaac Admir Cheatham, 27 was transported to an area hospital with stab wounds where he later died.
Initially, officers considered the stabbing to be an accident. But, after further investigation, detectives now believe that there was “a confrontation inside the home between Cheatham and another person, prior to Cheatham being stabbed,” according to Sgt. Dillon Quirk with OKCPD.
Although interviews have been conducted, no arrests have been made so far as the investigation continues.
OKCPD is asking anyone with any information to contact the Homicide Tip Line at 405/297-1200.
