OKLAHOMA CITY — Budget hearings for the proposed City of Oklahoma City fiscal year 2024 budget begin on May 2.
The meeting will include a budget overview and proposed budgets from the Departments of Public Transportation and Parking, Fire, and Police.
May 16 is the date for presentations by Parks and Recreation, Development Services, and Planning. Public Works, Utilities, and Airports submit their budget proposals on May 30.
The budget is scheduled to be adopted by the City Council on June 6, several weeks before the state-mandated deadline. The fiscal year 2024 commences on July 1.
