About OK Pride Alliance

THE OKLAHOMA PRIDE ALLIANCE, INC. IS A NON-PROFIT 501(C)(3) DEVOTED TO OKLAHOMA’S 2SLGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY THROUGH FOSTERING INCLUSIVE, ALL AGES, AFFIRMING PROGRAMMING.

Our events serve as an opportunity for 2SLGBTQ+ folks to connect, celebrate, and be seen. Our events serve as an opportunity for Oklahoma’s 2SLGBTQ+ community to connect and be seen in a safe and explicitly affirming environment. We understand the importance of visibility for our community. Our events also serve as a time to connect resources with individuals who may need assistance. We work closely with our community partners to provide valuable resources such as access to transitional housing, STI testing, youth services, and more. We continue to build on the vision of an annual PrideFest with something for everyone, in our city’s front yard — Scissortail Park. PrideFest is a monumental event to have in Downtown OKC, as it signifies a new generation of activism and visibility in Oklahoma. In addition to PrideFest, the OKC Pride Alliance hosts and partners with other organizations within the community to our efforts in promoting 2SLGBTQ+ equality and diversity. From Pride on the Plaza and a collaboration with the Oklahoma Mural Syndicate highlighting 2SLGBTQ+ artists to our partnership with deadCenter film — we know public art, music, and film are at the center of queer self-expression, telling our story and cultivating connection. Youth Pride Nights have increased from one per year during Pride Month to four annual Pride Nights at Factory Obscura. These Youth Nights serve as a hub for young people to gather in a safe space, unite with their friends, and make new ones. We’re constantly working to add more programming and events!
