OKLAHOMA CITY — Friday, Oklahoma County issued its official RFP (request for proposal) to acquire land for the new jail voters approved in a bond vote in June 2022.

According to a news release from Chantel Boso, purchasing director:
- 40 to 80 acres are needed as a construction site.
- Sealed big proposals to donate or sell are due by March 6, 2023.
- Government entities have until June 2, 2023 to respond.
