2 dead in far southwest OKC in apparent murder-suicide

OKLAHOMA CITY – Two southwest Oklahoma City residents were found dead in what police are reporting as a murder-suicide as investigators work to determine what could have led to the killings.

After 10:00am yesterday morning, police responded to calls of a possible shooting in the 12000 block neighborhood of SW 4th St. in the far southwest OKC/Yukon area.

There, they discovered 62-year-old Deanna Hudson and her husband, 64-year-old Bruce Hudson, both dead from gunshot wounds.

Investigators have said that evidence inside the home pointed to Bruce Hudson shooting and killing his wife before taking his own life.

Deanna Hudson’s death will be recorded as the year’s 37th homicide in Oklahoma City.

No further details have been released, but investigators have asked anyone with any knowledge or information of the killings or events that may have led to them to call the Homicide Tip-Line at (405) 297-1200.

Note: Charges, information, or claims made by law enforcement have not yet been tested in court. Under the law, all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty before a jury of their peers or a plea of guilt.
