OKLAHOMA CITY — A 14-year-old is dead after being gunned down on the upper Eastside of OKC Saturday night.
And, according to Captain Valerie Littlejohn with the Oklahoma City Police Department, no arrests had been made yet when she talked with Free Press Monday afternoon around 3:00. Littlejohn is the Public Information Officer for the department.
This marks homicide #73 for the City of Oklahoma City in 2024.
Saturday night at 7:58 patrol officers with the OKCPD were dispatched to 709 NE Katherine Pl. in the Musgrave Addition near the intersection of E. Wilshire Road and N. Kelley Avenue.
When they arrived they found the young victim lying in the street wounded by gunfire and, according to their report, “unresponsive.”
The victim’s name is:
— Jordan Gulley, 14 years old
He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are now investigating.
