OKLAHOMA CITY — Two people were shot inside an old, burnt-out former school building near NW 10th and Penn in the dark early hours of Friday morning. One is dead, and the other is in a local hospital in critical condition.
Danielle Mahaffrey, 35, and and adult male not yet identified were found with gunshot wounds when patrol officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department arrived to check on a disturbance at 1900 NW 10th at 1:03 AM Friday, January 26.
Officers determined that Mahaffrey was already dead. The other person was transported in critical condition to a local hospital and kept, according to a press release and phone interviews with OKCPD spokespersons.
No arrests have been made as of publication. We will continue to update this story as we gain reliable information.
