OKLAHOMA CITY — Police have now arrested and booked a third suspect in a shooting death at an Eastside convenience store in February.
Officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department arrested Raphel Enteeke Dennis at a residence in The Village Wednesday at around 7:00 AM, the day after his 18th birthday.
He was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on two complaints:
- First Degree Murder
- Assault and Battery with a Deadly Weapon
Although he was taken into custody in The Village, Jail records list his home address as being in the 3700 block of S. Pennsylvania.
Police believe that Dennis was involved in a dispute between two groups of youth in the parking lot of a convenience store at the intersection of NE 36, Springlake Drive, and N. Kelley on February 23. This is our report at the time:
Within a day, police believed they knew who two of the suspects were, made arrests, and booked the individuals.
Then, police acted on a warrant for the arrest of Dennis this week.
MSgt. Gary Knight with the OKCPD told Free Press that he was not sure if there were other suspects in the case.
