OKLAHOMA CITY — Little is known so far about a shooting on Oklahoma City’s west side Monday that resulted in one person dying.
Oklahoma City Police responded to a “shots fired” call to the 900 block of Harris Avenue near NW 8th and Meridian.
When they arrived they found one victim sitting in a van in front of 914 Harris Avenue.
The victim has been identified as Matthew Brooks, 47.
Brooks was transported to OU Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Police report that no arrests have been made and the case remains unsolved.
