Oklahoma City, OK (March 25, 2024) – The Paseo Arts Association is gearing up for the 47th Annual Paseo Arts Festival, taking place May 25-27 in the historic Paseo Arts District. The festival is a popular favorite in Oklahoma and brings over 60,000 visitors every year. The event features over 90 artists from across the country, along with delicious food and live entertainment.
The festive provides a diverse range of art forms including painting, sculpture, jewelry, pottery and more. Official artists of the Paseo Arts Festival display a lime green Paseo Arts Association flag, indicating their selection through a competitive juried process and support of the organization’s largest annual fundraiser. The money raised through beverage and merchandise sales directly supports the mission of the 501(c)3 non-profit and is used to put on the community’s favorite Paseo programs and events provided to the community year-round, such as FEAST and First Friday Gallery Walks. “We are especially excited for this year’s festival as our construction will be complete and we can show off our new streetscape,” states Amanda Bleakley, executive director of the Paseo Arts Association.
Other festivities include food from 20 different food trucks. These trucks feature a variety of treats, both savory and sweet. Food choices can range from barbecue, tacos, Greek salads, ice cream and more! Kids can join in the fun with our designated children’s area, featuring activities including spin art and bracelet making. Finally, visitors can sit down and enjoy live entertainment from local performers at two music stages. Performances will include acoustic, jazz, folk and rock n’ roll.
Anyone interested in volunteering at the festival can apply online. Volunteers have the choice of helping with beverage tents, music stages, the children’s area, festival information, artist hospitality, festival merchandise, parking attendants and recycle rangers.
