PRESS RELEASE: Residents invited to share ideas for newest Oklahoma City park

Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation sends this information as posted below:

The community is invited to share ideas for Oklahoma City’s newest park, Swisher Park. OKC Parks is hosting a park development meeting on June 18 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Mustang North Middle School, 10901 SW 15th St. Yukon, OK 73099.

Residents are encouraged to share their ideas for what park amenities they would like to see in the park. The meeting will outline the process for the park’s planning and development along with potential improvements such as a connection across the North Canadian River to the West River Trail.

At 119-acres, Swisher Park will be located in Ward 3 just north of the intersection of SW 15th Street and County Line Road. The park is funded by the voter-approved 2017 GO Bond Program.
