Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS) sends the information below:

Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS), in proud partnership with Construct My Future, is providing an exciting, hands-on opportunity for Capitol Hill High School students as they gain real-world experience on the construction site of the brand-new Capitol Hill High School that will serve their underclassmen peers in the near future.

Students are participating in Construct My Future, a workforce development program that introduces high schoolers to career pathways in the skilled trades. Through this initiative, students explore various construction fields such as HVAC, electrical work and welding under the guidance of industry professionals, all while gaining firsthand experience in a real job-site environment.

Flintco, OKCPS’s construction partner on the Capitol Hill project, is overseeing the site and working alongside students to provide a safe and educational space that mirrors an authentic work environment.
