The City of OKC sends this information as posted below:
Everyone is invited to attend a town hall meeting with Ward 7 Councilwoman Nikki Nice on Tuesday, Sept. 17, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the First Americans Museum, 659 First Americans Blvd.
Councilwoman Nice will emcee the meeting, which will cover topics such as planned enhancements to NE 23rd Street, amendments to the home-sharing ordinance, anticipated water rate adjustments, accessory dwelling units such as backyard cottages, EMBARK updates, the 2025 general obligation bond, Lottie bike lane, updates to the MAPS 4 neighborhood and community parks master plan and Vision Zero, OKC’s plan to eliminate deadly crashes in OKC.
The NE 23rd Street Enhancement meeting, originally scheduled for Sept. 12, has been moved to this event. Attendees will have a chance to provide input on the enhancement plan.
“Major projects are underway within our city,” Councilwoman Nice said. “This is an opportunity to hear about updates to portions of NE 23 to proposed improvements that can impact Ward 7 parks through MAPS 4.”
Ward 7 includes northeast Oklahoma City but extends into southeast and northwest parts of the city.
Councilwoman Nice was elected to City Council in 2018 and re-elected unopposed in 2021.
